Most of the chronos are microsteppers so no ticking.  Just reliable.

I like quartz watches and some great ones there. They lack the kind of nostalgia and charm that you have with a smooth sweeping mechanical movement. On the other hand when you're in a hurry and just want to put on a watch that shows the right time, and probably the right date, they can't be beat.

Personally in a Chrono I would take quartz all day over 7750 (rep) :blush:

+1.  I love my autos and hand winders but I really appreciate the quartz watches in my rotation for exactly this reason
