ThinkBachs 1 Posted May 11, 2011 Blackout Concept has some interesting ideas when it comes to customizing Rolex watches. Thought I'd share and inspire someone's creativity... Love 'em or hate 'em, at least the person who has one will have something unique. This should give a boost in business to our DLC providers.

seclark007 11 Posted May 11, 2011 So as if Rolex doesn't make enough fucking money, now some clowns in another company are copying the Pro-Hunter idea?! Next thing you know, they'll start making the bracelets out of Hemetite...jack the price up by another 150% and call it a "black diamond" construction. See they even needed to use the red lettering, so that they can call it "double red" or something fucked like that!
ds99mks 0 Posted September 26, 2011 well, the porsche looked fantastic, the guy and the plate ruined it though...

mulder 0 Posted September 28, 2011 If Rolex doesn't approve these modifications aren't you just buying a modified Rolex from some knob that just wanted to modify one? If a member here got a Rolex and did that to it you would howl him down for destroying a gen rolex? It like a code 3 Matchbox car. Yes someone went to the trouble of making a model that THEY wanted yet it means nothing to a collector as Matchbox actually didnt make it. Same with this. Rolex didn't make it and Rolex didn't authorise it. There for its worthless to the collector. Fire away if I'm wrong.

Presuming to know what future collectors will find desirable is a risky game. I hear rumors that some folks even collect fake watches, not merely modified ones. MikeMcNair 0 Posted September 28, 2011 I posted a screen shot of a watch I built online for my son from them. For me, nah, but my son, totally! Search around and you'll find a few screenshots I have of a pretty trick looking watch with my sons initials and his birthdate. I made the birthday look like a serial number by having only "05282003" written on the dial in red. It looked pretty cool. Thanks for sharing CM, I do like them, but likely would not wear one.
