JohnG 41 Posted May 19, 2009 So I did a search for a watch that I am interested in on eBay. Now I get a result from a huge dealer... one bidder, at $0.01 and another, same dealer, no bids, opening bid $0.01. They are both one day from close - this watch normally goes for around $200 - sometimes less, but never less than $100.... so WTF? Well, I browsed dealer's eBay store, ordered ascending price, and guess what? The lowest priced watches show at $3.45 - these two watches I saw don't show up in their store or when you view a list of the dealer's sales... but the auctions exist, only noone is seeing these two... So I have put in snipe order for both. Will see what happens tomorrow.... Got me some wood
trailboss99 994 Posted May 20, 2009 Buy two sell one and have a nice return to boot. Well done if it works. With any luck it will happen again with his site before he realises WTF is going on. Col.

JohnG 41 Posted May 20, 2009 hmm.. no reserve on them? hope you win ps: what snipe service do you use? pps: congrats on the wood! I use justsnipe.com - it allows five free snipes a week. I once paid for it ($5 a month) when I was buying a lot of locks (yes, door locks, don't ask why)... now I just use the free service. Well, someone found one of them - now up to $75. The other is still at .01, but has one bid... Will see what happens.... Pics after the fact, I am a secretive son of a bitch!
