Howitzer 1,951 Posted March 22, 2019 I used to have an ALT1-C/SI a few years ago but buggered if I can find any pictures - I'll keep looking. Suffice to say it was a very nicely made and handsome watch. https://www.dcleakejewellers.co.uk/product/bremont-alt1-csi-classic-chronometer-gents-steel/
Timepilot2012 0 Posted March 22, 2019 (edited) Great idea! I have two Bremont gens and they are among my favorites. I don't wear the MB1 except to reunions but the MBII gets at least one day a week on the wrist. They wear big for their case size, but not Panerai big. I just got a survey from the company the other day inquiring about personal interests they can use to design new pieces. I hope they come out with a regatta timer; I think that's well suited to a British brand. They seem to do a lot of co-branding with other British brands like car companies, which is usually a turn-off to the collector, but they do it well. I am hoping they'll do a Triumph motorcycle Supermarine. I'd rather not see the MB1 repped because of its significance, but an MBII would be great Edited March 22, 2019 by Timepilot2012 addition

cmflynn 0 Posted March 22, 2019 +1! I think Bremont is an underappreciated brand (though I think some of that is their fault). Love that gmt, I also love the Solo, just wish it came in a 40mm size

I once crashed a glider and I'm sure it would have had an ejection seat fitted if its top speed had been slightly higher than 60 knots. It was an RAF glider, I was wearing my RAF uniform, open cockpit, in the rain and I was drunk. So surely I deserve fighter jock privileges. And today I went to the Bremont Boutique in the City and was told how much a used MB1 goes for...about eight times as much as the MB2!
