Piloten 332 Posted March 22, 2019 So, one of the topics that comes up now and then is what is a safe watch to travel with. As some of you guys know, I am back to commuting on foot. It's a decent distance, about seven miles round trip and the de-stress will help my coworkers live longer. Thanks to the generousity of one of our fine members, I have the perfect office watch and this is what I wear. Today it went wrong. A guy stopped me on the path and waved a knife. "Give me your money and that gold Rolex." I turn my empty pockets inside out. "Fuck! I still want the watch though." "Ok", I say, and unsnap it. "Are you sure you want it?" "Just give it to me." "Ok", I say and toss it over. "You, uh, might want to have a look at it." He turns it up and swears again. Looks at the bracelet. "FUCK!" And he throws it back.
