KeNnY 29 Posted May 13, 2011 Luthier will have more time to fix some things on weekend. Finished products are when are assembled lol will relume those DSSD again anyhow. Trying to figure out the best combination of color and binder.
kan3 0 Posted May 13, 2011 WTF you got into luming biz too? Great pics bro, totally awesome.
Ska 11 Posted May 13, 2011 Kenny if you're using a combination of w@tchlume and GloNation I would recommend the following for a DSSD. Layer 1: Lume Mix: 70% Glonation 30% W@tchlume Lume/Binder ratio: 50:50 Layer 2: Lume Mix: 50:50 Lume/Binder ratio: 70% binder 30% lume. This will give you maximum brightness and shiny smooth surface after layer 2.
KeNnY 29 Posted May 13, 2011 THank you Ska ! Too bad that you use also different binder, I heard that Tritec binder is taking long to dry up, and for the W@tchlume I really need to work fast, before it will start to dry up in my mixing tray, and getting unwanted particle sizes on my oilers. How much time do you wait to keep the first layer to dry ? Complete dry or just the top dry ?
Crusader 0 Posted May 13, 2011 Great job Kenny, this lume looks amazing

Ska 11 Posted May 13, 2011 Completely dry mate. Wait 5-6 hours between layers. Oh and those measurements were for w@tchlume binder.
