Archaon 4 Posted July 28, 2011 Very nice job Kenny, especially the submariner!!! It might be your little secret but how do you manage to keep the hour markers so perfectly shaped? ( the little round dots, the rectangular and triangular shapes? Good stuff! Lume jobs are growing on me!
KeNnY 29 Posted July 29, 2011 :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Are they ready, are they ready, are they ready.... Woohoo !!!!!!!!!!! Wouter they will be shipped soon ! Now testing the timekeeping, the Rolex Sub is excellent I need to regulate the omega movement a bit. Very nice job Kenny, especially the submariner!!! It might be your little secret but how do you manage to keep the hour markers so perfectly shaped? ( the little round dots, the rectangular and triangular shapes? Good stuff! Lume jobs are growing on me! Thank you Archi ! This was my first try, it is not totaly like from printer, but next try will be much much better. I use toothpick to finish the edges of the markers. I have found a way, when you prepare the dial, with toothpick soaked in acetone, and prepare the markers, the lume will spread only to the place, where you have removed the lume with the toothpick, so this way you will have great shape of the markers. KeNnY 29 Posted August 11, 2011 I have been once again messing with the lume !!! SO here are jobs, for nunu78, his DSSD relume, I am really happy with the results (sealed crystal, rebuild pearl etc. all my modding):P Regulated movement to around 0 seconds per day ! Gen SWISS ETA awesomeness ! And here is my GF Alpha Day-Date relume job ! Now it glows also for whole night ! I put a bit lume also on second hand to see how the second hand goes.
