Couldn't this whole assembly be done the other way around ? No datewheel in an ST19 ? (Would be manual, but that's a tradeoff I would be perfectly fine with !) GenTLe 1,497 Posted May 6, 2019 Nope, below those added gears you have A LOT of other parts mainly for day/date automatic or quick change and for the hour counter at 6, then below there is the mainplate, and going down you then have the main gear train wheels and bridge, then all the parts for the engagement and reset of the chrono and their chronograph bridge, and finally the autowind parts and its bridge. Then the rotor.
