I really like it. Just be careful you don't get yellow markers. VSF started churning out a batch that were way too yellow. That applies across all dials tbf.

It seems odd the owner of AP would obsess over Omega?  I guess the old saying is true.... the rich are different from the rest of us.

Why are they turning out yellow?  Is it the lume?   Different lume application?  Too much applied?  Factory dogs peeing on the markers?  Act of God?  etc.?

I'm about to order a white dial iteration but don't want to immediately think 'dog piss' each time I wear it....

BTW, really nice collection!

I imagine so. Or maybe I've just got jaundice. One or the other I'd imagine.

Cheers mate. If you ever decide to thin out your impressive collection, in particular the white dial let me know :)

This one!!!!

*snip*

I'm kidding. It's purely a matter of personal taste. I genuinely recommend you get them all, they're brilliant reps.

New guy late to the party here, but just wanted to say thanks for posting this. I'm in the market for a 300 in either blue or black and this image is a great way of seeing them side by side for a change.

Am I right in saying the VSF v2 is the one to go for?

I've been looking at Puretime and TrustyTime, but I see a lot of JTime QC pics here, is the latter preferred over the former two? Cheers.

Whatever the latest VSF version is is what you can realistically get and that'll be the best, yes. Just make sure you don't get one with yellow lume markers in QC.

As for TD, everyone has their own favourite. Out of those three, I'd use JTime, Puretime, Trusty in that order (though I use Mary normally).

Puretime isn't a trusted dealer here. Neither is JTime. See here ->

Also there are no QC pics allowed on this forum.

Maybe you'd better go back and read the links in the 1st post here:

Ah yes, I think bouncing between here, RWI and r/Reptime I've got confused with what I've seen where. You are quite right the QC pics weren't here. Sorry. (great start, eh!?)

I did read the 101 thread, but will go back and refresh.

Cheers. That is 'Mary Watch' on here I take it? I've seen that name mentioned a few, seems like she has a good eye for a good watch. Thank you.

That's her. :thumbsup2:

Find the watch you want on a TD with a good website's site (such as Puretime), copy the precise link and email it to Mary asking for price and availability and go from there.

That's if you want to try her obviously; no skin off my nose either way.

Awaiting QC pics and will be sure to check for that - Thanks for the heads up .

Couple of questions if I may...

I've seem some watches say 'Basel' in the description, what does that mean?

Do the VSF v2's have the sliding adjustment in the clasp?

I think that means the Gen version of the watch was introduced at Baselworld, a (soon to be extinct) watch trade show. At least that's the only thing I can think of.

If you're talking about the 'push to adjust' thing in the clasp on the SS bracelets on the SMP300s by VSF, yes they do, they work the same as Gen. The new No Time To Die Bond watch is the exception, that's still got shortcomings compared to accuracy to Gen.

Ah I thought it might have been that, nearly said but didn't want to look daft if it wasn't!

Yeah that's the one, the push to adjust, I was just looking at another site that has pic if the watch and for the first time I saw s picture of it, most sellers don't show it.

Just need to decide between the blue and black one now....

Why are people so indecisive these days: just buy both! You'd save on shipping costs so really it makes economic sense.....

If you think about it, you're saving nearly $15,000 compared to buying the gen's /s
