I can’t find the movement pictures of my old gen. looks promising though.

Where did he take it to be opened? As an AD won’t just open one up unless they are sure it’s genuine and a good reason.

Here is my old gen. (not the best photo, but it was an arty shot taken in Naples)

They would have a decent idea on the gen/rep of a movement. It looks about right for the age.

I’m trying to upload a pic of mine but it won’t let me. The picr isn’t working.

I've compared it to other 1120 pics i can find, and I can't spot anything wrong, but I'm far from an expert

I'd want a tagged pic personally, could be any old internet grab.

I'd be to didgy to do a deal like that, from someone I didn't know that wasn't an AD. I'd be looking for a letter of authenticity from an AD saying that Watch xxx, serial xxx is genuine, blah blah.

But that's just me...

He's been a member of the forum for 5 years with 79 positive feedback, I think the pic is genuinely one he's took himself.
I'm going to give it a miss as it doesn't look in the best condition and what it would cost to get looking better I would be better off spending a little more on a better watch.

Ah noooo, if that was the case then yes I would be after a tagged photo at the very least

How much was he asking out of interest?

Mine had a lovely patina on the bezel and looked beautiful. They look nice with a bit of life wear.

It's up for £1500 plus postage, maybe a little wiggle room in that too

Pretty certain it's gen everything looks spot on especially if it's full set with box and papers check serial numbers match up.  I still think £1500 is too much for an aluminium bezel seamaster seen em go a lot cheaper, I'd offer him £1300

Movement looks great, yet to see chinese movements to that finish level.

I agree with @GingerBubba if the seller wasn’t of standing on the forum you’re purchasing then I’d want a tagged picture.

If you’re comfortable with the seller then that helps, I’ve walked away from watches purely on my gut feelings.

The dust could be a sloppy clean job when it was serviced.
