Big auction

Recommended Posts

Felipe

I know all of us are here for reps. But every so often we all get the urge to own a gen watch or two. I have been involved with auctions for several years now and would like to let you guys in on this one. Possibly some good deals can come of this. The auction is JUNE 8th to the 9th with only a 5% buyers premium. Lots of PAMS for you guys I know you all love them (they personally don't do much for me). Check it out guys hope some of you make a purchase. If you do let me know!!

Interesting detail on Lot 77:

Lot 77 - Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver Black Dial ISO approved

• Brand New in Box

• This is the new AP Royal Oak Offshore Diver. It features an in-house AP 3120

caliber movement. The movement runs at 21,600 vph and has 40 jewels, 278 parts

and a 22-carat gold oscillating weight. The power reserve is 60 hours. Water-resistance

is 300 meters. The case is stainless steel (42 x 13.75mm). The strap is rubber,

with a stainless steel buckle. The dial features a sporty black “Méga Tapisserieâ€

motif and applied grey hour-markers with luminescent coating. The hour and

minute hands are facetted white gold and a luminescent coating.

• It has a rotating inner bezel which is a great feature. AP decided to use an inner

bezel that is controlled via the screw-down crown at 10 o’clock. You have to

unscrew the crown in order to adjust the inner bezel, which features a 60-minute

diving scale. This design allows the wearer to set the dive time, with no risk of

unintentionally adjusting the bezel.

Are the reps screw down or not?

• Making this one of the lowest production Panerai watches ever created

unique blue dial also gives this watch a look only found on this Panerai

model. This model has the patented locking crown giving it the unmistakable

Panerai flair. It comes on a dark blue alligator strap with an OEM folding “deployantâ€

Baldrick

Anybody notice that prestige marques such as AP / Breguet / GP / B&M are few and far between, whereas the auctions are awash with Panerai, tells you 2x things, there are a lot of bad taste 'impressionable' bears out there and that any company can create an entire product line with little diversity, innovation and flair from 2x simple case designs,...someone should tell Hublot

If I won the lottery then maybe I'd buy a gen, but I like the rep world.

Make sure you label it with the correct date for your sales thread.
