Livebythebody 1 Posted June 14, 2019 -Stumbled across this on the gram and thought I would share with you guys, definitely one for the future Ressence Type3 . Its patented display indicates the hours, minutes, seconds and the oil temperature gauge without "real" hands. Instead, it uses revolving discs, which in turn orbit inside the main disc of the minute display, which itself is continuously revolving. Anyone seen one in real life?? bitboy 0 Posted June 14, 2019 These are even more stunning in real life. I've seen the white version, the dial and indices seem to be projected onto the domed crystal, it's mesmerizing.
oscarmadfish 0 Posted June 14, 2019 looks like a feckin bottle top , not for me thanks
GingerApple 7,300 Posted June 14, 2019 It's not for me, not as it is at least, but I do like the style of the thing. I like the overall look, it's just the regulator type display I hate. This thing looks great, but you can't tell the time with the bloody thing.

Glaude 1,615 Posted June 14, 2019 I love all Ressence models, but the price... well... let's keep buying reps !
Xpletiv 16 Posted June 14, 2019 Telling the time on that is not a mystery in the least, even my cat could do it. And my cat's dead....

CurioLeo 296 Posted June 15, 2019 I am sure I am in the minority but if you gave me one for free, I would sell it and buy something else . Never could get into Ressence, ignoring the price.

Would never wear 'em. Price is irrelevant.

deju 1,883 Posted June 15, 2019 Would be all over it at £1-3k but x10 that is out of budget. Even if it was in budget at that level I’d stick with solid brands like AP and Patek, more mass market to sell on.
Piccolo 674 Posted June 15, 2019 Yes I’d have one, made an offer on one but seller had sold it. Nice to have something different. Ideally I’d get the Type5 for the 10atm but I could live with the Type3. Not the kind of watch you buy with re sale in mind. (But you should buy stuff primarily because you like it, not as an investment)

wowsasb 8 Posted June 15, 2019 Ive seen a few. Heres a shot, I quite like the far left. Ive wondered about servicing since, it isn't likely that the company will be around forever unless its bought out by LVMH, Richemont, Swatch etc. and most watchmakers probably are not equipped to open them and re-fill them. I know the point of the oil encapsulation is to reduce service intervals, but.... I dunno... oil goes bad?
