hardly an expert here, just havin fun.

i used a gel type of super glue, i didnt use the hypo cement for crystals. i have it, but it always bubbles and gets "stringy" if that makes sense.

i'll get her fixed tonight. just a pain the ass and pissed me off.

There's your problem mate.

Superglue (cyanoacrylate) even the gel type shrinks and deforms as it dries.

You want clear jewellers epoxy mate.

That looks way better than the first attempt mike.

Does your cam have a delayed-action shutter release?

Try to use it, the pics still look blurred....

Now it looks respectable, and for a 21j under 100 Bux, this is a fine piece!!!

Ok, well everything went bad!!! As I clicked the bezel back on, the ENTIRE pearl time warped, lost, gone!!!!

I am freaking the fuck out!!!! The good thing, is my buddy down the street has a jewelry shop and will get me tip top, but fuck me, how the hell did a pearl fly out while pressing on a bezel? I had the die over the exact bezel (less the polished arrows parts) and it fucking rocketed off into another atmosphere!!!!

This is an inexpensive 21j SA, and frankly has taken more time then it's worth, and I am fucking furious!!! I am not even sure what I did wrong as the die was over Lmost the entire pearl, so how did it come out ??????????

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

thanks for understanding, i was absolutely shocked. it was in, perfect, and when i licked the bezel on it literally launched into flight. i was speachless for like 2 min and my GF was like, "wtf, what just happened"

also, it is a quartz, look at the time i posted that, it was wicked late and i was SOOO tired (worked 11 hr day that day)

so, i'll have her tip top soon.

did you mix it the two liquids to 1 : 1 and add lume powder to it ? It is really strange, when I done mine, it is impossible to get it out, only with drilling :)

You will not be getting an answer to that question. Mr. McNair is no longer operating on this forum. His workshop is closed.

We believe that he becomes eligible for parole in 2086, so you may need to be patient.
