Wearing my hybrid Tokyo moonwatch.  Seems to be a standard moonwatch  with a Tokyo 2020 dial and custom painted Snoopy hands.

That would be the watch I have always wanted.  I love that dial.  But $8k used seems a bit steep.  Lovely thing though.

I thought it was the one that says "July 20th 1969" On the dial? The 35th anniversary one?

$8K is too steep for me too.  That is why I got this one from Mary.   I didn't care for the silver hands on the silver dial, so paid a little extra to have them swapped out.  I was surprised that the bezel is more gray than black, but I kind of like it now.

I really really want a Speedmaster - I contacted Mary a couple of times trying to source one with the Seagull movement but had no luck.

Anyone any hints tips on factory/TD to obtain a super high quality Speedy professional 42mm as accurate as possible / Hesselite & good  dial spacing  (but not a a quartz).

Cheers

I wish buddy, I was too slow on those bad boys!

I rotate between dark brown & tan that look very similar to the OEM Omega straps.

There's no such thing

Subspacing is impossible to get it done because Omega uses an inhouse movement!

Not technically in house, (at least originally) it's actually made by lemania then branded omega although the recent ones I think maybe are built by omega but pretty much the same lemania design.  The reps use the venus clone movement so as you say the subdials are fucked.

My plan originally was to build a super Franken based on a random cheapie vintage with the right lemania in it back when you could pick up omega parts easily before Swatch cut off the supply.  I was in the parts sourcing process when mine came up dirt cheap  (similar to my budgeted Franken cost) on WuS so it ended up I just went gen

If Mary can't get one, no-one can.  Or, they will be able to easily, until you've paid.
