Nstirton 0 Posted July 17, 2019 Hi all, I picked this up a few years ago and felt it was about time I shared some pics! Details from the TD site: Name: PAM111 N V4 Noob 1:1 Best Edition on Brown Calf leather Strap A6497 with Y-IncablocSize: 44mm x 15mmMovement Platinum plated Asian UNITAS-6497-2 21600vph hand-winding movement withdagger swan neck regulator and flat-top movement bridge blue screws, all blue letters are engraved then filled with blue ink rather than painted on the movement directly, with E-SerieCase: 1:1 replicated 316F high grade stainless steel case, new style crown guard with ball-bearing. Crystal: Scratch-proof sapphire crystal with colorless anti-reflection coating (Swiss standard, single-sided, same as genuine) Dial: Superlumed dial and hands (lumed with genuine Super-LumiNova C1+C3) Bezel: Polished stainless steel bezelClasp: 316F high grade stainless steel tang buckle with detailed engravings (same as gen) So, i've no idea how this compares to the gen as I'm not lucky enough to own one (though I think from reading at the time this clone is well thought of). However, if you like this style of watch i'll say straight away - BUY IT. I genuinely can't believe the quality of this piece for the money paid. It looks incredible, the finish is great, the saphire is super clear, the movement looks incredible (that case back, wow!), and of course it keeps good time. I did swap out the fairly poor strap it came with and I think the leather from Watch Obsession works really well. As you might expect, the lume on thing thing is like a torch - charges up really quickly and lasts (i'm hugely critial of lume, even on gen watches). It's in regular rotation with my other watches, hence there's barely a mark on it, but I also feel it's holding up really well. Anyway, take a look below and let me know if there's any questions! BadPickle 2,749 Posted July 17, 2019 nice pick up pal, everyone should have one of these, simple and elegant, i have its cousin the 177, basically the same but in titanium. you need to ditch the rep strap and get it on some vintage style leather, our man @JohnG does a cracking range of very well made straps for not much money at all, he's always got a bit of something for sale in the m2m section https://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?/forum/319-nero-straps-by-johng/ great pic too
BadApple 13,081 Posted July 17, 2019 Agree with PBR - get a @JohnG Nero strap on there - a nice Ammo style
Nstirton 0 Posted July 17, 2019 Thanks both for the comments! Yeah I ditched the light tan strap it came with (cheap and plasticy) and replaced with this one which I think works well. £40 from Watch Obsession. Can never have too many straps tho, so I'll check the links! Cheers!
Nstirton 0 Posted July 17, 2019 Also, here's me rapping about how good the lume is and I didn't even post a shot! Gotta love these sandwich dials on Panerai. This is after literally just a few minutes in the sun:
mysterio 18 Posted July 22, 2019 Either a proper strap or a bracelet. My PAM111 says hi.
phenerwg 0 Posted August 12, 2019 PAM 111 is one of my favorite watches. I got one about two years ago and use it with the rubber strap. How many of you guys switch out your straps on the PAM 111 frequently?

JimmyYing 0 Posted September 4, 2019 Can't beat a 111 on rubber! I used to own a 176H but always wished it was a 177. Nice looking watches
AUwheels 0 Posted October 3, 2019 My next acquisition; as soon as I have access to the m2m I'll check out @JohnG's collection
