cvp3 2,099 Posted August 14, 2019 I've lusted after this watch for years. I have a long list of watches that I will one day own and this one recently hit the top again after watching - Once upon a time in Hollywood. Brad Pitt was wearing a Citizen Bullhead in that movie. His was a gold case and dial on leather strap, not my favorite combo. But of course I couldn't stop looking at the watch and thinking about finding one. Quite a few eBay auctions later, where I thought I'd won, but in the final seconds the bids shoot through the stratosphere. I'm talking $500 - $600 and up. I didn't give up, but I also knew it wouldn't be easy. Tonight I finally find one in very good condition and priced around $325 after a few rebates.

Fantastic pick up mate, and a watch that I think belongs in every collection. Now I’m off to eBay to search myself

Thanks for sharing it with us...... I spotted it on his wrist the second I got to the job. Had a few peeks to make sure it was gen, then started talking watches, as you do. Said he paid $10,000 back in ‘87, at a guess it say it would have just about doubled in value. Lovely watch, but handling it affirmed the fact that gold watches are not for me. Do we call this model a Root beer?
