powderfreak 0 Posted October 19, 2011 Just wanted to bump this, because the 2$ watch is still running fine It's incredible value, especially if you are looking for a (disposable ) lightweight sports watch. My gen Casio is still at my gf's old place, but from a short side-by-side comparison I can tell: It's not a super-rep, the "Casio" lettering is missing, the light is much weaker, the band is a little bit different and the caseback has "flaws". trailboss99 994 Posted October 21, 2011 yep I sell dozens of these for $10 each at markets, never had one back. I wear one on the fire ground so I have the exact time and a stopwatch. Apart from getting a bit melted (seriously ) it still runs fine. The gen is the world's highest selling wristwatch and is available in every country except North Korea. Of cause the homage is available there from China. Even the PX at McMurdo sound Antarctic base sells them. If you want a cheap watch you don't have to worry about you can't go wrong with gen or rep and as Fakey says "If you absolutely positively have to kill someone on time, wear quartz." Col.
