borut_pisk 75 Posted August 24, 2019 Hi. I have a watchwinder on which I can regulate the speed of turns. The scale is from 800 - 1.800 turns per day. Any idea, suggestion on how much would be a suggested average speed for replica watches? Perhaps depends also on which movement is inside the watch? I have some watches with Miyota 9015, a2836 and also some a7750 inside. Thanks for any replies.
borut_pisk 75 Posted August 24, 2019 So... I played a little with numbers... There are 86.400 seconds in 1 day. With high speed of 1.800 turns/day, the winder makes 1 turn in 48 seconds, with 800 turns/day (lowest speed) the watchwinder makes 1 turn in 108 seconds. GenTLe 1,501 Posted August 24, 2019 Avoid to use it unless the night before putting on a discharged watch. Watch winders are like parking the car with the engine on... They just add wear to the movement. A correct use is to charge a discharged watch leaving it on the winder the night before to use it.
Rx4Time 1,472 Posted August 24, 2019 Well, you have a small issue. The 7750 and miyota are unidirectional wind in the opposite direction. Unless you want to mess with the settings each time you swap watches, set it to bidirectional maximum turns per day.
