if you use a TD on this site you won't get ripped off, so it doesn't matter. TDs don't let you use paypal initially because bozos rip them off by filing complaints. however, after a few transactions some may allow paypal. some do let you use paypal initially like Trusty Time, you need to contact them and discuss payment with them when you are ready to buy.

In case you don't know bozo:

Now pp is not available from most of TDs.   Bank will inspect the payment from paypal, need the receiver to provide the doc to prove the payment, much trouble.  sometimes return the payment directly,  lose $90 fee per time.

Bank transfer    Not good now, it takes for a few days(usually 4~6 days), and sometimes bank will refuse the payment from other Country into the receiver's account.

Transferwise     cheapest method now. but sometimes this is not available in some Country. As the first payment, Transferwise give free fee.   Good method.

bitcoin          Good method

western union    not very good now, can't use it often.

PS:  OP, if you choose the TD here, no need to worry your money's safe.  if any problem,  Mods here will help u out.

Thank you to clear it out for me!

I tried WU for the first time and must say didn’t went smooth as with pay pal,  but that was rather my fault due to wrong verification with identity. (Name on bank card and name use for transfer)

second attempt transfer was accepted.

TransferWise all day long for me! I just got a Noob Daytona from Mary and the money was in her account  ten seconds after I hit send (GBP to CNY/RMB) and I saved £20 on Bank prices taking into account fees and FX rates. It's a no brainer. I've even have a referral code that I can provide (and that I shamelessly offer around to people) that will save you the fee on your first few transfers, PM if interested.

Yes Transferwise. I used to use paypal for internet orders, but i started reading on this forum and the TD dont like using it because of the high risk of losing money if the buyer pulls a cunt move. So transferwise. Never heard of it before I met Mary. The app says you save money for transaction rate, that works for me. It’s easy to use too. And because Mary is a TD, I trust the deal won’t go south.

Bankers...well, I never. I’m shocked and appalled. There’s really no need for such an extremely harsh insult. The worst insult in the book! I thought no one could offend me, oh how wrong I was.

I once saw a filmed lecture at The Festival of Dangerous Ideas where the lecturer argued ‘okay you can have good lawyers, they’re incredibly rare, you could probably count them on the fingers of your hands, but bankers, well there’s no such thing as a good banker’. It was classic.

Does it only work on first transaction? I’ve already used Transferwise but if it’ll work on non-first transaction then I’ll take it.

What makes you think I'm offering it to someone like you!! ;)

No - is a sign up code I think - I think you actually have to use it before you create an account.

Fair enough. When it’s got to the point of calling someone a banker, all help is off the table.

Bankers in Australia pulled the greatest scam ever after the GFC. Got the government to guarantee people’s savings in banks. If the banks lose all of our money through the reckless behaviour we had seen cause the GFC, it will all be okay because the government will pay it back to us. Sounds great hey.

Now think that one through. A private business acts recklessly and loses our money. The government, who get their money from us, will pay back those reckless businesses...with our money. The blind sheep are happy because without thinking it sounds great. The bankers are cracking the champagne because they can now do whatever reckless shit they want and if they lose their customers money the customers have to pay it back to them. Bloody genius.

you're daft mate, bankers help give us credit and credit is a sacred trust, it's what our free society is founded on. do you think they give a damn about their bills in transnistria?  and what about those hobos and vagrants on the streets, makes you wonder how much they owe. most of them are on the run. don't even use their flippin social security numbers. if there was just some way to find out how much they owe and making them pay.  and what about those evil dentists.  all of the above are slowly destroying civilized society along with the pygmy elephants and YOU are just letting it happen...commie

Some of the TDs now have arrangements to accept bank transfer to banks in your home country, or nearby, eg uk, Germany to my knowledge with PC. Not only do you often get a discount, if you can pay in local currency to a local bank the fees can be much lower.

TransferWise has got to be the future for rep purchases. My last rep buy from a TD was my first time using JTime (just after they got TD rating) and the ease of the whole thing - comms and QC on WhatsApp and payment via TW - was a joyous experience...

I understand the benefits of moving money but that doesn’t make those in control of it the good guys.

I’m an anarchist not commie. But we’re not allowed to know about any system outside of capitalism, and are taught they’re what they’re not.

The industry I work in (don’t ask though) is as evil as any. I don’t deny that. Herein lies the problem in my eyes, everyone wants to think their system is good, what they do is good, and not confront the truth that it’s all fucked up just as much as the alternatives. Some honesty that it’s not so great, just like the alternatives aren’t so great would be a good starting point for the modern world.

The bankers thought socialism was a pretty damn good system for them after the GFC. My opinion is a balanced mixture of sociopolitical/economic systems would probably be ideal. But for now anarchy is my leaning.
