simey83 2,005 Posted August 31, 2019 Hi Guys, So I have had this on the radar since I first seen it, a good while ago, and have been waiting for an excuse/reason to pull the trigger. I just got some great news... Baby number 2 is on the way,,, so no better reason to add this to the collection I have to say I have not been disappointed one bit. It is everything I hoped it would be. IMHO it's one of the nicest watches around at the moment, certainly the nicest Longines have made in a long time (I'm a big fan of Longines in general). Love the vintage look, the big domed crystal, the "BigEye" and the big pushers, which give it a little something else compared to all the other similar chronos out there. It sits brilliantly on the wrist, and just wears perfectly! Lovely weight too, not too heavy, and not too light and I think the proportions are just stunning. It has the Longines L688.2 modified column wheel movement, which runs like butter! It's a real treat to use the chrono. Also comes in the most ridiculously over the top wooden box, which is a nice touch. Stunning looks, real solid movement and a joy to wear, what more can I ask for I took some quick snaps, but I might do a proper review with better pics etc. when I've had it a bit longer! Currently on a generic canvas/leather strap. I took the original off to keep it good. I think it's gonna look great on lots of different straps. Might even try a bund!!
