VMSG 2 Posted September 1, 2019 Following @Steve36 thread I was thinking to get a "cheap" gen (1-2K$). However I'm looking for something "classic" - breguet style: thin, classic hands, leather strap etc... I could not find any brand that offers something like that, i guess it is not easy to make thin mechanical watches. Would love get get recommendations
NFleischer 4,355 Posted September 1, 2019 Check out Christopher Ward Malvern, Frédérique Constant or Armand Nicolet on Ashford.com. All under $1000
RDRoss 4 Posted September 1, 2019 Try Oris or Baume Classima, you can even find some Longines models you may like.

NFleischer 4,355 Posted September 12, 2019 Agree! Poor man's Glashutte .One complaint- strap is quite short, lucky I only have a 71/8 "wrist.
