But thay looks pretty good. The inlay color was a secondary characteristic. I'm not big in Rolex GMT's though. Overall looks pretty good. I'm quite a fan of the GMF.I know exactly what you mean. If it wasn't for macro photos, I'd probably have no clue about my watch's flaws. I don't know what's better, knowing or not knowing.I zoomed in to look at the "bump" and when you do you can kind of see the paint on the inlay. That'd pretty smooth though. You did a good job. I'll have to see if I'm courageous enough to try. I'm trying to hold insert that is close enough in color to powder coat. That's a tough order though. I don't know what it is about the gmt master that doesn't do it for me. Especially because I love Rolex and really like GMT's. I did try, but the paint mod made the bumps in the 6 and 18 look bigger, plus the triangle was worse too so I cleaned those three out and just left paint in the rest of the numbers.
