Omega parts? Are these worth anything?

Recommended Posts

snoopy_

I have a colleague that just had his Omega 300 Seamaster (James Bond) serviced by Omega.

He had had the dial re-lumed from a non Omega service center and he didn't like the result,

so he sent it off to Omega for dial replacement and service.

They sent back all the parts that were removed/replaced as a result of the service.

They sent back two crowns, the dial, and some other stuff.

1. Do you think the parts have any value?

2. Is so, what is a fair price?

3. And, is anyone in the market for them?

Thanks,

...as a comparison, I picked up a used dial, with original lume, nice patina for 40 euro, a couple of gen NOS handsets for $15-$25...never bought the crowns but I think you can get rough prices fron nostalgia-2000 on ebay...:)

Thanks.

The guy I share an office with noticed I was lurking on these sites, and buying some tools to work on watches as a hobby, so he game me his used parts. I thought they'd be worth something so I was reluctant in accepting them. But, maybe I'll keep the dial and see if I can re-lume them as an excersise.

Most of what they sent back was junk... used gaskets, used springs, etc...

Here is a better photo of all the stuff they sent back...
