This purchase was for my recent birthday, and after making a short list of watches I asked my 5 year old son to make the final decision. He chose wisely. Draken is a micro-brand from New Zealand, and this is the Tugela 2.0 released earlier this year. Specs are as follows; Bead blasted 316L everything 42 mm case without crown 48.5 mm lug to lug 22mm lug width 300 metres water resistant Sapphire crystal with AR inside 120 click unidirectional bezel Seiko NH35A automatic 10x layers of X1 C3 lume Couple of pics; Came in a really nice leather travel case with a fantastic quality matching Zulu strap, and I opted for the additional Leather strap too. The Lume on this watch is pretty fucking special. I charged it for only 29.8 seconds before taking these pics. They have even gone as far as to lume the date wheel and also the crown, very nice touch. I won’t waffle on, I’ll just say this watch is fucking beautiful. Thought about the new Makara Sea Serpent model but it doesn’t get released till Christmas.
