Antique Omega Handwind 18k Gold

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

So my wife recently inherited an antique handwound omega pocket watch from her grandfather. According to him it’s made from solid 18k gold but I think it’s just gold plated.

I tried to look it up online to see what it maybe worth but found some ranging from a couple of hundred to a couple of thousands. Looking at the serial numbers it seems like it was made between 1908 to 1910.

I’d love to get more information or thoughts on this from the experts here. Its not yet in our hands but will get it by the end of the year. I wonder if it’s worth takin it to an omega boutique to find out more about it

Anyway on to the pics...

Looks like a gold hallmarks on the case, not clear in the pics, I suggest you Google them.

I had no idea what hallmarks were except for the cards lol. But thanks a lot for the suggestion! I don't have the watch yet either so once I get it I'll look into it more.
