Griffo 6 Posted September 15, 2019 Thinking of getting an Aquanaut as my next rep. I keep going between the ZF and the V6F. Is the ZF really $200 better? Thinking about just grabbing the V6F from Toro as I’m not really bothered about the case being 1mm thicker or the rotor not sounding exactly the same as a genuine one blah blah (and all the other bollocks some rep collectors care about). Anyone else got it? Also I’m thinking of the Asian ETA, not the SW200.
FoxWilde 155 Posted September 15, 2019 I had a BP V3 and sold it. Now I have a ZF. Both 9015s. I love the ZFs thin profile, an attention to detail. Also ZFs rubber strap is of very high quality compared to BPs. It’s worth the money IMO you get what you pay for. Here’s the aquanaut OOTB and next to a gen calendar. FudgyDocker 3,424 Posted September 15, 2019 @FoxWilde - just noticed that you have "Seiko 5 Automatic" twice in your sig. Might be deliberate, but....
FoxWilde 155 Posted September 15, 2019 LOL @FudgyDocker I’ll have to fix that once I get home to the desktop
Moadib 0 Posted September 15, 2019 I can’t speak to the V6F, but have the ZF and really love it. As commented above, strap surprisingly better than expected, and overall lovely watch. GBP unfortunate just now though....

Compared to 2009 (last financial crisis) pound is 19% weaker versus dollar , but Euro has 28% loss That reflects the rush to hold dollars, and the much larger economic problems that the Eurozone has. Very elegant, dial colour is awesome, slim well made case, strap really soft, buckle so so and the backcase rotor of Miyota is despair (noisy as f..k). The internet is full of people complaining about noisy movements in gen Aquanauts too!
