Is my band too sporty for my watch?

The Omega Aqua terra is a dressy watch usually, the the 15000 Gauss "Bumblebee" seems like it could be an exception...am I violating any norms  by using this "cheap sporty casual" band?

Nah, it's nice. If it was a NATO, I'd say different but that looks nice. Enjoy

It's ok for that color combination :)

Works great in my opinion, the yellow stitching ties it in with the dial and hands.:thumbsup2:

It works well together.   Almost looks like it could be an OEM combo.

Good combo. Gives it a racing look. The Aqua Terra has never felt like a watch for water.

The stitching and backside of the strap tie in nicely with the yellow accents on the watch. Well done!

New shoes.! I like it. Switching up straps, and changing looks  is just fun. Watch snobs suck.

I like it and must confess I have suffered with the same  quandary time and time again. There is only one solution and that is buy more watches.

Straps are tough to gauge at times, but I agree with most of my contemporaries here in saying that while sporty, this strap works.  A higher end watch with a trendy or sporty strap can work if the wearer's overall style is contemporary.  I personally like trendier straps on these types of watches, just as I like taking older & even more contemporary watches and marrying them with either a color matched horned back crocodile strap, or something that's a little different and unexpected (I'll include some pics of examples, and in advance I'll say the green strap needs to be slightly bigger, but all things in due time).  I like doing this and I feel it works for me, while it certainly isn't everyone's taste.  In this case, it's your watch and clearly you like it so go with it.

I'll also do it for splashier watches.

Looks good to me, the yellow ties it together nicely.
