So much no. The movement in particular - it's as if they didn't even try to make it look right.

First this particular model is long out of production so you wont run into that many but here are some things to look for that are signs of a rep

Bezel pip/lume dot is off center on rep

Rep movement has blue screws in it

Rotor on the gen is marked 1164

Rep subdial hands are too short

On the gen the end pieces are marked 826 and the bracelet bridge is marked 1504/826, the rep doesnt have markings on end piece and bracelet bridge is usually 1503/824

Lume plots on gen are painted on and not chrome framed as the rep is

Here are some better pics, caseback and movement Gen movement is very decorated and has a serial number

top pic is rep end pieces on bracelet, bottom pic here is geZPrX1.jpg

Not correct as this is replicating the updated model with marker rings and updated dial fonts with metal Omega symbol and ‘Omega’ introduced astound 2007.

This is not the rep of the updated model as it is the 178.0514 and should not have that dial

You are missing the point bud. It’s a fake so obviously it is not correct! I was just making the point that there is a version with metal rings and metal Omega logo, the 2225.80 which this rep was a copy of when released.

I have not been in this world of reps ( which gets a lot of stick from outsiders) very long but I am impressed that everyone seem to be hellbent to ensure that any “escapees” to the real world are stamped on quickly and hard!

its nice to see such integrity in a non-genuine world :balls:

The point is that the updated dial does NOT belong in the 178.0514 Case

Obviously but then it’s not really a 178.0514 as it caseback is wrongly stamped as it’s a rep!
