Nikosaldente 630 Posted October 17, 2019 Hey guys, I had a Quartz Omega Moonwatch Professional (non Microstepper) lying in my drawer.... Took the chance and bought a Microstepper Movement/Dial/Hands next door for a Co-axial Type Speedmaster at 44mm. Trimmed the "fat" around the Dial, nipped the Stem to the right size, put it on a Nato Strap and voila: *Dust is on the outside What do you think @NCRich? Cheers

Thefrenchman 0 Posted October 22, 2019 Do you have a picture of the movement? I'm looking for a white dial version of that but I'd like to have at least a decent quality quartz in it. I've bought over the years a few gen watches that although looked decent, come battery change had a petrol station $2 special with huge plastic spacer. So knowing what to expect to see would be helpful.

Thefrenchman 0 Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) Thanks for the photo and link,I've only ever bought one replica before a Marina Militare auto with a hobnail dial. One day out of curiosity and boredom I took off the case back to find a tiny movement with a large spacer. In saying that years later it works well,I suppose it's all about perception and if the movement is a cheap and cheerful $2 job (if that) you start to give the watch less regard even though it's shortcomings are hidden.
