BP 1675 Pepsi GMT small modifications

Rolex BP GMT 1675.  I decided to play around with the watch.

Insert: Pepsi Insert ordered on Ebay from the Watch Outlet ($17.00)

Crystal: Clark Crystal ordered from Ebay.

The first picture is the original watch. The Clark crystal (right)  is shown side by side to the original BP factory one. It does appear to be about 15-20% clearer. The BP does scratch much easier, so it was worth the upgrade.

Issues: Crystal snapped right it no modifications needed. I used a very "light" mild adhesive glue that needs be redone. The bezel was spinning without the insert moving.  I've read shoe glue is the right glue to use.

Original w/o modification

Bottom: New CC and Insert

BP Crystal and Clark Crystal side by side. You'll notice the Clark is much clearer. The chandelier on the right looks defined on the right vs left

Insert side by side: Bad picture but the WSO brand does seem  darker.  The blue is about 10-15% darker and the red about 5-10% darker.

For 30.00 in parts it was worth the upgrade. It does appear much nicer in the sun.

I'll try and see If I can relume the watch and match the orange color

You can't get a Clark crystal at CousinsUK as far as I know.  You can only get it from Gary Clark on ebay.
