GenTLe 1,490 Posted December 8, 2019 So here in Italy we have a "Catawiki" which is an auction site. Gave it a look and saw a couple of nice Landeron chronograph. Now... Give a look to that movement. Doesn't it look a BIT too familiar and a BIT too Chinese? https://www.catawiki.it/l/32509449-landeron-chronographe-pilote-uomo-2011-presente https://www.catawiki.it/l/32509439-landeron-chronographe-type-20-uomo-2011-presente This Luminox instead looks legit and at a great price (but let's see when the time will be near to the end...) https://www.catawiki.it/l/32400267-luminox-sr-71-blackbird-xa-9098-eta-7750-valjoux-automatik-chronograph-limited-edition-xa-9098-uomo-2011-presente

What a bad end for a company that was alive since 1873 and was the official supplier for Breitling with a lot of famous chrono movements. Their watches actually aren't even that bad, if they were presented into a better web site that doesn't look so crappy...

It’s good business to buy old brands, it’s a nice looking watch too at least it’s not dead I guess
