z80 23 Posted January 5, 2020 Thanks all. Yeah, that was quite a bit of luck. That strap is a Walmart cheapo, that happened to cost $2 more than the watch. I have a SS Oyster-ish bracelet and a nicer leather strap on order now. When I looked it up, I was kind of surprised at the value. In a "sold" search on eBay it ranged from $675 to over $1000. So far my best deal/find was this mid 1940's vintage solid 14k Imperial with solid 14k mesh band that I bought for $125 and spend another $40 to have it completely stripped down and rebuilt by a local old school watch guy.
