Latest Aquisition A RIPPER "BREITLING"

Recommended Posts

brang1

This one just in and i think i am totally in love, yes i want to have children with this watch. Little baby colts, 36mm perhaps.

BREITLING COLT CHRONOGRAPH AUTOMATIC, MARINER BLUE DIAL. It was the dial that got me, i am a sucker for a blue dial, and this is just beautiful. Officially chronometer-certified movement,  44mm  14.7 thick, so it is a sizeable chunk, but not as big as the Avenger. I tried Avenger Seawolf reps but didn't find them comfortable, this however sits perfectly. As with most Breitlings, the finish is superb... i think i may have a keeper,,,well for now anyway. So @Thommo82 don't hold your breathe for this one

That's lovely, I really do like the aesthetics of these chronos.

If you do get your hands on some baby 36mm Colts I'll have one or three, perfect size for me.

Did someone mention 36mm?

That's my preferred size for wristwatches, whether old or new.

Congratulations on your latest acquisition, Brent.

Mate I love that.

Saw it in the window at Hardy Brothers here on the G.C. and it was a main standout - among many Breitling's!

Keeper for sure!

Ahhh.....

Now that’s just fucking lovely isn’t it mate!

Once again, what crimes are you committing?

I’ve still got hold of my mates Breitling

Ended up having a good chat with the manager at a local watch shop when he spotted it on my wrist. He showed me some really nice Grand Seiko’s, and ended up ordering my Longines through him at 25% off. Good guy.

That Bloody shop will end up taking thousands off me one of these days. Few years back they had a yellow SuperOcean Abyss in store and I’m still kicking myself that I didn’t buy it. What a fucking idiot hey?

They have some lovely pieces in there, tried on the new Navitimer recently. Much more subtle than the older versions. Nice Omegas too.

Next time you are on the Gold Coast, check out Salera’s in Pacific Fair, next to Myers.
Great selection including Grand Seiko

Funny you ask, AD rang me about an hour ago telling me he just received it and is now sitting in the safe at his shop waiting for me. Don’t think I’ll have a chance to pick it up before the weekend though

Yes I shall die a little inside, but absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Late night Thursday’s exists, but I am out of town for work and will miss it
