My (limited) understanding is that the Noob still uses a bastardised clone ETA movement to achieve the correct hand stack, and is very prone to failure. The latest ARF houses a "true" clone of the 3186 movement (as Noob did with the 4130 on the Daytona for example) but it is early days for this movement so no word on reliability yet. VRF have also released a GMT Master II with a cloned movement similar to the ARF (although I think it's a clone 3185?), and there are mixed opinions on which is the "best".  ARF is supposed to be visually and qualitatively better, but the VRF movement is supposed to be more robust.

Any feedback above is derived from reading up on the forums by the way, not from experience. I am eyeing up the ARF version but it is hard to get hold of at the moment, particularly with CNY under way. What I can say from my experience, and to echo @deju's post above, is that ARF watches do tend to have a more quality feel.

Yeah as far as movement goes, these watches aren’t comparable at all.
ARF is the go.
