Having fun with my 6542

Recommended Posts

Slapped a homemade sticker on the back and with long daily wear, it should age and get dirty with skin oil quite nicely....

I also brassed the bezel slightly.

Installed gen springbars.....

Applied a high polish on the inside of the Yuki bracelet.DSCN1265.jpg

I did not make this thread to offer a sticker service....

I simply do not have the kind of time to spend on this but since you were the first one to express  your like, I will mail you one.

That is very cool. I may not be the first and I’m not gonna ask for one but can you tell us what paper you used or the process?

I was ten seconds behind him! And I gave you a 'thumbs up' :tears:

But I understand where you're coming from :thumbsup2:

Very cool though. I shall not withdraw my 'thumbs up', in spite of the soul destroying pain I shall now live with forever.

See...I asked for the process instead a backhanded attempt to get a free one. Good try GB! Talk about soul destroying.

But I am not done with the one I stuck to my watch.

My plan is to get it to look worn out, sorta like the one in the photo but not that worn.

these are the photos that will guide to achieving the "aged look" I am after, the most realistic one.

After achieve the faded result you want , you have to protect it with a transparent adesive sticker (are sell on eBay ) otherwise it stain and peel off rapidly cause sweat and water ..
Already try ..

Hi Dan  Did you make the actual sticker or where did you get it from?

I’m not the opener of the 3D...

But I Made also some by myself or better I use a professional printer of a mall shop of a friend.

You can print on a photo paper or on a adesive paper .

I have also bought some sticker to this guy on ebay 65brandoff (see pic below I add only the number with sticker number ) but now are not on sale . Better than the one that I make but not like the genuine that was print on a metal paper (I can’t found other word for explain ) .

The genuine are more strong to sweat and water ..

Very nice mods ElvisFreak.

You could also do with sanding your insert to an angle so it's flush with the edge of the bezel.

Love the depth of the numerals on that bezel!

I've got a RolexAddict build that needs some attention :(  Does anyone know if he repairs his old work??
