Silverspeed 10 Posted May 29, 2011 This week I received this beautiful Daytona from PWC. The Rolex Daytona 116518 with the lovely panda dial. I have to say this is one the best looking dials I have seen on a watch! Robert sells these Daytona´s pre serviced before they ship, and I have to say this is the smoothest running Daytona I ever had.

Takken 0 Posted May 29, 2011 That looks great! Do the stainless look this good? Then I'm buying it
David543 0 Posted May 29, 2011 That watch is fantastic. I might have to save up for it!!! I do love the white dial, that is the best looking Daytona I have seen. What is the gold finish durability like? I have a TT sub and got a wrapped version for durability, is the gold likely to wear off quickly?
Luthier 1 Posted May 29, 2011 Just gorgeous watch!!!

Del 4,462 Posted May 29, 2011 That is stunning! I love that gold/brown combo. I don't do gold in watches but this might just sway me to try one...
Miracle 13 Posted May 29, 2011 Was thinking of getting a gold watch but was told the wrap don't last very long as it fades
KBH 7 Posted May 29, 2011 My wife's got a gold ladies DJ and the gold hasn't worn off at all. It's about two years old and she wears it quite a bit. I think if you buy a decent quality gold rep it should last a long time. Also, it's usually the gold on the bracelet that wears off first so this one should last almost forever. greg_r 81 Posted March 15, 2012 who is PWC? i want one PWC (Robert) died back in December. RIP, my friend... Whelton: Most of the dealers will be able to supply this model, but bear in mind that secs@6 Daytonas tend to be unreliable.

Whelton 0 Posted March 15, 2012 thanks guys, sorry to hear that, had the same feedback from rochest about the seconds & daytonas. i want something similar to this with the gold an brown strap, fairly new to reps and have a lot to learn. can you tell me what watch i cant got wrong with (pref Rolex) am i right in thinking that any of the trusted dealers are ok to deal with?
Pob 73 Posted March 15, 2012 Yes all of the TD are ok and you can't go wrong There is a lot of nice Rolex watches around, i suggest starting with nice Sub and than Dssd and than all of them lol Hom much money are you looking to spend on your firt watch? Would help a lot in suggesting where and what to buy
Whelton 0 Posted March 15, 2012 200-300 which i suppose is about $350,
Pob 73 Posted March 15, 2012 Ok if i were you and want Rolex i would go for nice Asian Clone Sub Cheramic I would also suggest Mary at Watchinternational or MR as your first dealer If you like big than go for nice Clone Dssd But the choice is yours and you can look around and maybe find something else you like
MadeOfCheese 0 Posted March 15, 2012 If you want a nice Daytona, you only have to look as far as my Black one in the member sales forum Just sayin'
Whelton 0 Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) what is the difference between the swiss 2836 and asian movement 3135 ? Edited March 15, 2012 by Whelton
Pob 73 Posted March 15, 2012 There are guys that can explan better than me do just wait untill they answer that question But as far as i know they will say never go for 3135 because it is not as reliable as the 2836 and will not full anybody anyway!
greg_r 81 Posted March 15, 2012 T what is the difference between the swiss 2836 and asian movement 3135 ? the 3135 is an asian clone movement modified to look more like the Rolex movement. Unfortunately the mods make it a little less reliable, on top of which it won't convince anyone who knows their Rolex movements AND the watch has a closed caseback anyhow, so who cares? . Still with the standard asian clone 2836 or the swiss alternatives - they're a safer option
