Tudor Heritage Chrono

First big Gen purchase for me as far as money goes.  Got it used off the well known auction site that ends  in bay. Ultrasonic the bracelet, cape cod everything and here we go! Seller must have used a steak knife on the link screws as three of them are absolutely mangled, links are ok though. I'll need to find another link for my wrist, fits OK now but I need some more slack. Guess I'll find an AD near me and get the link and the screw issues taken care of. Came with the full kit except the warranty card.

Edit to add these pics, seems to be running alright and a mangled screw!!

Thanks, really liking it. Picked the black dial out of the three colors, really like the blue but little brother needed a big brother.

There’s a AD 20 min from me so I got that going for me which is nice.

Genius

Fucking great watches these, I got the grey but like all three. Really cool bow true they managed to stay to the original while still making a properly modern watch

Has some real character, that! Enjoy.

Question - did the seller indicate when it was last serviced or are you planning on having it done? Does Rolex have a hand in servicing Tudors? Was this a factor in your purchase?

Every time I've gotten close to pulling the trigger on a big bucks gen on ebay, the whole "last serviced" question stops me, since few private sellers offer any proof or even know these watches need an occasional service. Of course the more modern watches need it much less frequently than the manufacturers like to claim.

No indication on service and I didn't ask, my mistake there! Seems to be running ok on the grapher, amplitude a little low maybe? (anyone?) but I'm not sure it had a full wind on it either. There is an Tudor AD 15 minutes from here so I am headed there next day or two. I need an extra link and three of the link screws are mangled. I'll ask about service and show him my time grapher pic. Think I'll open it up tonight and make sure there's not an A2824 in there :)

You should assume that no  service has been done, and include that in your cost... It's also a great way to negotiate the price lower :D

Wow! Always fancied myself for a BB58 but this is a real curveball. The black is so...vivid

Really nice piece, congrats!

I've read on TZ-UK, WUS and TRF that the heritage chrono is no longer produced, albeit still in the current catalog to get rid of stock...

The model has been overshadowed by the more popular black bay in recent times... Also having a BB chrono with b01 integrated chrono vs a 2892+ DD piggyback module didn't help in the marketing...

Great discounts to be had if you want a new one... More if used... The monte carlo (blue), is really nice in person!

That is a really nice watch ! Congratulations on your purchase.

I myself have Black Bay Bronze Bucherer Blue edition but it does not get to much wrist time.

Thinking about getting Black Bay Chrono S&G but I keep thinking there are better chronos at that price ... though I love the design and how they managed to blend silver and gold elements:)
