I wouldn't say it is NWBIG, my camera may be bit too stupid for capturing that, but in real there is a big difference in orange colour. Rep is matte and all paint is pretty much in the one and same tone. Gen is more glossy, and depending on lighting condition - paint can show vary hue saturation (at the same time). No idea mate, gen case has a hole at 12 o'clock, this is where a click-spring is being locked at the case. But I am not seeing it how bezel notch is any kind of help here.
