The Rolex morning watch followed by the VSF SMP for the afternoon (before I'd set the time again)

64Z3c.jpg 6wgEI.jpg

The SMP is on a new rubber strap that @Howitzer made me aware of, this one:

https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/788515051/the-newest-2020-omega-seamaster-300?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=20mm+seamaster+rubber+strap&ref=sr_gallery-1-16&organic_search_click=1&frs=1&col=1

We were hoping it was the same one the TDs sell, (but cheaper). It has the updated hole shape - but it's not the same sadly. It's not bad quality wise, but the keeper doesn't have the notch that holds it in place like the TD ones - a non issue for me. However a big issue is the fit - it sits too high, way above the lugs. You don't notice it when glancing at the watch on the wrist, but if you look a tiny bit closer, it's a pretty shocking fit. As below:

That said, it's still not bad and I'll be keeping mine on the watch.

Not at all! I'm fairly satisfied with it.  The side on photos don't reflect how it actually looks when on your wrist - it looks like the top photo - so all good.

Okay, now THAT is an unusual watch.  Handmade by a computer geek?

Not sure if the watchmaker is a geek but is definitely is unique.  Purchased it from hddwatches.com

Not had anything on my wrist for over two weeks now. With being stuck at home, not really seen any point wearing a watch.

Balls to that, it’s a good reason to wear more without fear of getting them smashed up... well it is for us proper grafters anyway, haven’t worn this in years!!

The original UN rubber strap tore on me last week so the watch will be living on my orange Borealis Isofrane style strap for the next while. Actually much more comfortable than the stock strap.
