Why would any of us have anything to do with the competitive practices between them in China? Simply put out the info, that's fine. This one does this, that one does that, one drop ships the other blesses, kisses and says a Chinese Novena over it before they ship. Who cares how they 'play' with themselves? All we need to know is if it is what they advertise, what the price is, and what the service is. Banning anyone from a site over theses accusations is just plain fascism. Josh and Andrew threatened to pull the plug on Hont's factory connections if he didn't RAISE his prices Joey, apparently they did the same to Ruby and the likes months before, this affects us, the buyers of reps. I'm in agreement with you about letting everyone know the in's and out's of the dealers, across all the boards. This was why I was banned at RG. They kept totally deleting any thread that mentioned the above, I was told by J-C, one of the site owners to take it to his pm box, which I did. I asked why they wouldn't let it be discussed on the forum, very politely mind, as it should be left to the members to form their own opinion and discuss the matter in the open (I was a relative noob at the time) and next thing my account was locked out and a lifetime ban issued. Josh and Andrew weren't banned at RWI, still aren't to this day as far as I'm aware, they merely had their 'trusted dealer' status revoked. That's not fascism Joey, it's simply good moderation IMO... Does anyone really think that any of the factories would pull the plug on any volume dealer like Hont now that they are making money the old fashioned way, capitalism? There is no mention of any 'banning' merely that he was removed, ie his dealer status. Anyway Joey, discussing this is good, everyone get's to see each of our points of view about Josh, this in turn means they can form their own opinion about him. This is what having an open forum is all about. Knowing D4M, he obviously took your post as a bit of 'pot stirring', maybe he overeacted, who knows? You don't understand what went on or the reasons behind RWI's decision (which, incidentally, I support - even though I personally wouldn't have gone as far with it as they did). I WILL tell you - again - that D4M's decision to beome a dealer was not related to this situation. He only has a problem with the 'cartel dealers', for the reasons (as far as I'm aware) I've stated before. Remember Joey, RWI asked Josh to refute the claims, he didn't and he isn't the shy retiring type as we know. There are loads of other dealers over there so is D4M only a semi-fascist by your assumption? A lot of needle was evident after the previous owner of RWI had a fallout with Josh (and Andrew, they shared IP's) and Josh removed RWI's banner from his Perfect Clones site and replaced it with a Repgeeks one which at the time had hardly any posts...coincidence, who knows, but these are facts... All the info is out there if you are willing to do a bit of legwork, start with the 'Little white lies' thread and then view Josh's posts through the members links (I think his nick was jos nana) if you don't believe me... Another for the pot, Dave used to be anti-RG and doubted Josh for his links with them for a while. This led to him being called a prick in open forum by his now, new found buddy, J-C, RG co-owner...how times change, he'd deny all now but the beauty of RWI is that posts, good or bad, don't go 'missing'... From the get go I have never doubted Josh's dealer service but stated I would no longer use him, if other people do I understand why, now, hopefully, you understand why I don't...peace Joey... Nor a question for me if Josh answered when challenged, some people prefer to just stay above that sort of bullshit, nor if Dave was involved. None of that matters, unless one is into soap operas. All the rep sites have dealer lists with their comments. The members make the decision who to buy from based on what is important to the individual. Some prefer the 'safety' of good after sale service, and are willing to pay extra for that comfort. Some want the lowest price they can get. Some want to pay a certain way, or have a tracking number, or want communication within the hour. Each of the dealers does it different. For me, being new, I made my first purchase from Josh after reading this forum in the old setting, and RepGeek. I PM'd BK, consensus was he had the best, and as he didn't do the Retro GMT I wanted, he said Josh's was closest 'out of the box', and so did another I PM'd. Then Josh was 1st I knew of with the GMT ceramic, so I bought that. When I bought my DSSD I PM'd AllergyDoc, and now looking for a quartz Breitling I PM'd greg_r and Onze. Every member is happy to relate their experience and offer advice. But then the individual must make up his own mind, and it is not fair to the individual if a site bans certain dealers. Let everyone post their experiences and ten let the individual choose. Not allowing that is fascism. I'm not trying to get anyone to buy from one dealer or another. I simply wanted to relate my experience. Josh is #1 and it's not because of his prices, it is because of his service.
