Different weights of different Panerai models/materials

Recommended Posts

As I have a few Pam reps in various different case sizes and materials, I thought I would weigh them (heads only), to give other potential buyers an idea of the differences between them.

Here are the weights (courtesy of genuine John Lewis kitchen scales! Haha).

All the below have the modified clone movements fitted. Although, I believe the 288 radiomir chrono is more basic 7750 without much/any mods done to the movement.

44mm Luminor - Stainless Steel - display case back.

42mm Due - Stainless Steel - display case back.

44mm Luminor - Titanium - display case back.

44mm Luminor - Carbotech - Closed case back.

45mm Radiomir - Composite (coated steel) - display case back.

So there we have it. The titanium 44mm is lighter than a 42mm stainless, and the Carbotech is the lightest of them all.

Very little difference between the steel Luminors and the Radiomirs it would appear.

Hope this might be of interest to some.
