Had to “fix” (i.e. nudge back into position) a winding mechanism cog thingy (again) tho, so I could wind the DSSD. It doesn’t always work right... one day I’ll learn some watch stuff and know why... I insisted he keep the speedy until the debt was settled - we moved house and all the renovations that has seen new roof, central heating, floors, plasterwork etc, but now three years later it’s back with me. up until then I didn’t have the money.
