Seiko 7002

Well, as promised to Kenny here are a few pics of a $70 watch that he brought to my notice on ebay. It has an aftermarket dial with sod all lume which will need replacing and is in need of a service. If someone knows somewhere reputable to pick up a gen Seiko dial for this I'd be grateful...overall I'm quite happy with the watch though...;)

Why replace the dial? Just get it relumed mate.

You won't get gen dials for them anyway, not for less than the watch is worth and it will still need a re-lume.

That's why they all use aftermarket ones.

wasn't the movement serviced ? You mean it doesn't keep good time ?

Watchuseek has a great Seiko section that would be a great place to start with this question. Those guys are very familiar with swapping dials, bezel inserts and such. ;)

...it's loosing about 35 secs a day...no biggy, if I can service a 2836 I'm sure this'll be a piece of cake...

You can also try looking at www.thewatchsite.com

Probably just a typo but this model is the 7002 not 7020.
