Hey Del, I heard Tag is recalling those Isographs. Is that true and if so, did they offer a replacement for the newest model?

No, they didn’t recall, just removed them from the market and replaced them with non-Isograph movements. I don’t think they were set up for mass-producing the Isograph movements and/or it was costing them money! As far as I can tell, there is nothing wrong with the movements and TAG are standing by the ones that were sold.

Ah, that makes sense. Those carbon composite hairsprings had to be costing them a mint to manufacture. Clever idea, too bad the pulled if from the market. I suspect that makes yours a rare bird indeed.  Ought to be worth a pretty penny in the future.
