sm1rf 0 Posted June 25, 2011 Very interested in this watch, I'm in at $1500, but that will be my watch buying for 12 months gone in one foul swoop. Am interested to know what depth you plan on testing/certifying this to. I prefer 300m and over, of course 1000m is excessive but you know it's bomb proof at that rating! graman 2 Posted June 25, 2011 Dude...it's a pilot's watch! Noooo diver's watch! Pilot's watch!...say it with me now..................Pye....Lot... Ok? Ska 11 Posted June 25, 2011 Gra mate I B) you! Yup it's a pilot watch so water resistance is secondary to the other functions and aesthetic features. However it has a fully waterproof Swiss-made screw-down crown, sealed-in 1.5mm thick front/rear sapphire crystals and a laser cut neoprene case gasket so hopefully it should be more watertight than jacques cousteau's arse. Ska 11 Posted July 4, 2011 I'd like to confirm at this stage that the seconds hand WILL indeed be red. I don't particularly like red seconds hands per se, but on this, it just works.
powderfreak 0 Posted July 4, 2011 I'd like to confirm at this stage that the seconds hand WILL indeed be red. I don't particularly like red seconds hands per se, but on this, it just works. True, it has to fit in, in this case it does great!

Once more now...Pye............Lot Go fly fly...no go dive dive unless something very wrong with engines... Thanks for that mate, appreciate the information However it was mentioned a while back about waterproofing and I cant remember the exact reply from Ska but it was along the lines of "if I've done the calculations right bloody waterproof" That suggested to me a strong by product of this awesome development was that it would be bloody waterproof. Don't get me wrong I appreciate this watch for it's awesome looks and the fantastic design process but you can't argue it has got a divers look about it, even if it is called "Wingman" So after all that "how waterproof do you reckon this bad boy is gunna be?" David543 0 Posted July 11, 2011 Hi Chris, soz didn't get to respond to the latest update. This is one fantastic looking watch! Coming together and the changes you are making are enhancing the design. You know I like 'gens' and was thinking of getting a Ball DLC or second hand Rolex, but this design is very strong and I think your design and materials use is going to produce something of genuine flair and artistic merit. I am very interested! Red seconds hand works by the way in my opinion, really helps pull the design together, great choice. When do you estimate you will you be taking pre orders?
