FunnyStarSystem 7,538 Posted May 4, 2020 Nespresso anyone? Huh. Apparently I'm having a second Sunday, how lovely of me! We keep spare lungos in the cupboard for the elderly and infirm.

I quite like the new acrylic model but alas, too small. Worst mistake I ever made buying a gen Sinn because now I want every single model. If it keeps up I'll soon be dressing like @BravoDelta I was a bit disappointed with the size of the 356.....a year or so late Sinn came up with the 358 which would've been great! I wish I had waited for the 358, it's perfect, I think. However, the lack of bezel gives the impression of a slightly larger diameter, the height of the watch is not an issue due to the curves and angles of its profile, unlike for example a Sinn 756 or Damasko DC56 which are very flat sided and appear very tall as a result (IMHO of course).

You shouldn't have trouble getting a 358 and moving your 356 on Chrono24, they seem to lose very little value. Unfortunately since I've purchased my 900.013 I've been in touch with the NA dealer for straps and screws and a link and he has reeled me in to the point of sending me a Damasko catalog unsolicited, and calling me personally about an incoming 358 Diapal. I quite expect a birthday card and hand job next! If I get a blowie then how can I refuse a Damasko DSub3 on rubber?!?

FunnyStarSystem 7,538 Posted May 4, 2020 As you can see, only the most essential shops have remained open in NY... Can't wait for the Nets to resume their meh season so as to distract me from buying more watches.

dave47 6,484 Posted May 5, 2020 Hi, Gang! Well, it's the start of a new week in lock down; but when you think about the ravages done by COVID19, it' best to be safe than sorry -- and dead. This is the start of a three day TIMEX journey, showing off these underappreciated horology pieces. The first, secured from (I don't remember) is this TIMEX IQ 3-GMT watch (T2p426). it's actually a fun watch to have & to watch the GMT (adjustable) move around the dial. WR @ 100m, indiglo, rotating bezel -- a fun watch to play with. dave: WHAT THE HAY! ONE MORE!

Or a whole series of boutiques more likely! And who in hell is Stan - the getaway pilot?!?
