jd1566 8 Posted May 4, 2020 Hi all, I need a watchmaker in South Africa (preferably Johannesburg!) who will work on reps and is reliable and good! My last watchmaker completely ruined my TC sub.. I mean RUINED.. After years of giving me good service his lead watchmaker died of a heart-attack and his assistant took over.. and BUTCHERED my watch.. I need someone to sort it out! I've tried myself but I'm just not good at this stuff.. Vintigizing a case and maybe swapping movements is about all I can reliably manage.. So any help would be much appreciated. I need a movement overhauled (water damage).. as the caseback seal was the wrong size.. the lugs need to polish out where they were held in a vice (can you believe it!?).. I am speechless.. HELP!
