The current Collection...2121 update

Recommended Posts

Pesman

Hi All

THIS IS ORIGINAL POST FROM 2020 SEE END OF THREAD FOR UPDATE....

With way too much time to sell, buy, swap evaluate and sort, I thought now may be a good time to show the current rep collection... this has settled over some 7 years and, courtesy of my anal recording of my sales and purchases, some 44 or so have been and gone...

9f77ab1f73e31c350cc021ac517088fe.jpg

I will aim to tidy the post up a bit later with some more details but here is the total collection...and a few close ups. I tend to try and source genuine straps on eBay - watchfinder is great for off loading them - makes a huge difference and have an aversion for sunken dates...so no Navitimers.

The newest is the Autavia which arrived this week and the oldest is the Top Gun ceramic purchased some 7 years ago! Really needs a new chronograph movement now butROLIE has nurtured it along

If I could only grab one as the flames burned around me ... it would be the Top Gun Mirimar... just love the ceramic quality of ZF...or just maybe the new Bathyscape ceramic...just lovely to wear

Clearly I love chronographs and clearly IWC and Breitling...

Some are rarely worn but represent watches I could never own such as the Rose Gold IWC spitfire

I have also included a screenshot of the latest tracker...maybe some more inbound! It is an addiction after all!

Big thanks to you all for helping feed my hunger and Mary as my go to TD

and I cant wait to see the CLEP Tag 01 1887

Great collection and great organisation!
You sir are an addict , there is no hope .... the self help group known as RWG will help. The only thing you need is another watch box to expand the collection- nowt really missing there but I am sure that the want (need) list exists and will grow :typetype:

Lovely collection, maybe a bit too much dust there.

Not really a Rolex fan I'm afraid. Sea Dweller is for completeness and at least is 43mm

Nice to see my Cousteau is still in your collection. How's it holding up?

Wore it yesterday in fact. Still going strong thanks to the Tissot movement...

You’d need your own forum section to list your lot!

Thank you sir... will post the gens tomorrow... though I really need to think seriously about moving some of those...an unworn rep is one thing...a box queen gen...feels far worse!

Will update this with photos shortly but interesting to see how I have spent the past year since posting the original rep / gen update above....

Been a lot of buying and then selling on including more than a few regrets....VSF Omega's in particular .... given the factory clamp downs

Bracelets still thin on the ground....

So here is the current list...

The last 2 are out with Mary...Omega Speedmaster is looking unlikely

And here is what has been and gone in the past year...

Boxshots to follow...

And pics....

Box space is at something of a premium so apologies for the randomness

Basically I have a Gen Box and 2 rep boxes plus a watchwinder box...and stuff is scattered between them...some gens are stored in rep boxes hence the gaps in the boxes and gens on the duvet...

Box 1 is basically Omega, Breitling and IWC reps

Box 2 is everything else rep wise

Box 3 is gens which are listed below...

Hope that makes sense...if anyone wants specifics on anything just let me know...tried to wipe worst of the dust off..

Box 2

Gens and watchwinder watches...overflow on bed

My top watches across the collection are shown below...although truth be told, I am really happy with them all now...all tge below are gens apart from top two IWCs
