What Watch Box?

Hi Guys,

My searching ain’t turning up much. I’m after a nice/decent watch box, 8 or 10 max. Preferably wood. Don’t really mind if it has a window on the top. Been looking at Rainer, Wolf, Aevitas etc. Rainer seems to be he “one” but they can be pricey and only available on eBay from Germany. Big shipping costs. Around £100, give or take would be nice.

I just got a cheap one on amazon. Looks great and works just as well as any expensive one. Cost me $37 shipped.

I use crap ones from ebay, the latest ones a bit better, these ones https://www.ebay.it/itm/323703736585 . I don't care to have expensive ones, because 1) I have too many of them for them to be expensive and 2) they are just a commodity to put watches in, not something for display.

Much the same here, I just use cheapies as there just something to store them in when I'm not wearing them.

Been finding the watch/ sunglasses one good as I can store things that don't sit well on the cushions. My Tag box as an example...

What I did spend some coin on though was a steel locking cabinet thats been bolted to the floor, just a little extra piece of mind if the worst does happen and should put off most opportunist scumbags.

Yea, that’s what I was thinking. I have a “cheapy” at the moment, but it’s on its way out. I’ll grab another.

You can pick up the Wolf Windsor 15 slot boxes for about £100 delivered when they pop up on 'Drop'. I bought two recently. Even having to pay import duty, delivery from America etc, it still comes to £100 delivered.

I use a Ikea tall unit that has 6 drawers and took the linings out of  some watch boxes off amazon

Agreed that the cheapies are not too bad, been through a few though, they don’t last forever.

Sister in law bought me a no brand winder from eBay for $70AUD. I don’t use it as a winder, but it looks the goods and is a better display

I think so too. My most worn go in the winder box. Honestly though, I’m slowly trying to dwindle down my collection and be more specific in what I buy, especially since now I’m only buying gen. 
Kinda reminds me that I should do clean out of my reps. Only cheapies left, might just do a job lot
