I like this watch... dial  colour .. strap combo ... looks the business... .  . .. :notworthy:

My most expensive rep - my only Noob, clone movement, Daytona. A cracker for sure, it winds/runs like butter and visually, it dresses up and down. It’s comfy and just has a Gen feel to it. Cracking watch and thanks for saying so :thumbsup2:

As long as you didn't ride 264 miles  to the desolate wastelands of North East England and weren't Covid19+. Although even if you did I'm sure Bonko and his gang of hypocrites would back you to the hilt. :D

Why ?

Because another Aussie kicked off the thread?

Not at all.

@Oris and I have equal rights to kick off a thread..................and as the story goes, the early bird .....:giggle:

PS: Being pissed has an entirely different connotation down under...............Google it :D

Pissed off = angry

Pissed up = happy

Pissed on = wet n smelly

Some UK uses

The Noobs are lovely, there's no getting away from it. Every time I think, "Why don't I sell these expensive bloody watches? I hardly ever wear them, I'm scared to use the chrono and they haven't even got a date window!" I then wear one, and all is forgiven...

And I really need a grey one to sit in between the white and black ones, and make a nice tonal range in the watch box.

The trouble with them is that most have them have a horrible flaw I can't unsee - which ain't happening at £600 or whatever it is. The grey one doesn't have anything obvious that annoys me. I'd buy the one below in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the lack of individual sunburst on the subdials - that bugs the fuck out of me.

Found this lurking at the back of the cupboard.  2010 Pinot.   Its already brick red, but fortunately still fresh.  Fantastic for a cheapie clean skin

Pairs perfectly with ribs and slaw
